Due to a remodeling project at the Fort Payne Police Department, we will temporarily be changing our physical location. Our mailing address will continue to be 200 Gault Ave S. and the new physical address is 1700 Williams Ave NE, which is located in the south end of the Williams Avenue Elementary School building. Starting March 7th there will be no public entry in the former building that housed the Police Department.  The 911 Center and Jail will still function from that location but will have no public access. Operational hours for the public at the new location are 8:15 am to 4:00 pm. 

At the new location, the public will enter from the front of the building, on the south end through the double doors, where marked, off of Williams Avenue NE. This entry is where the public will come to get police reports and accident reports. It will also be the public entrance for any assistance needed from the Chief of Police, Assistant Chief of Police, Investigation Division, and Patrol Division. Jaycee Drive will be closed to the public with the exception of when the 2022-2023 school year begins and will open for school traffic only.
