WASHINGTON, D.C., September 26, 2024 – U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) announced her office will be holding Service Academy information sessions throughout the month of October in conjunction with the offices of Alabama’s House delegation.
Individuals interested in seeking a nomination to one of our nation’s service academies will have the opportunity to learn more about the application process by attending an event with Alabama congressional delegation staff members and service academy representatives.
A list of session dates, times, and locations can be found below:
Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. is Birmingham Academy Day with Congressman Gary Palmer at Homewood Public Library, 1721 Oxmoor Road, Birmingham, AL 35209
Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m., is Mobile Academy Day with Congressman Jerry Carl, at St. Paul’s School, 161 Dogwood Lane, Mobile, AL 36608
Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. is Huntsville Academy Day at Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE), 229 Wynn Drive NE, Huntsville, AL 35805
Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. is Montgomery Academy Day at Auburn University Montgomery, Taylor Center Room 230, 7400 AUM East Drive, Montgomery, AL 36116
