Four arrested after door kicked in on Highway 35 in Section

SECTION, Ala. — According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office: Yesterday (April 18, 2018) members of the Section Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Narcotics Unit responded to a call on Alabama Highway 35 in Section; where a male subject reportedly had kicked a door open at a residence.

Upon arrival Deputies and Officers could smell marijuana inside residence.  A search warrant was obtained for the residence and during this search Spice, Xanax Pills, Lyrica pills, and drug paraphernalia were located and seized.  

Arrested in connection with this case were:

 

  • Katherine Michelle Thrift (41 of Section) was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Spice), Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Lyrica).
  • Kirstie Breanne Thrift (19 of Section) was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Spice), Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Lyrica), Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Xanax) and Disorderly Conduct.
  • Jeremy Christopher Robert (18 of Section) was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Spice), and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Lyrica).
  • James Anthony Jabley, Jr. (28 of Section) was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Spice) and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Lyrica).

Felony bonds had not yet been set at the time of this release and all remain in the Jackson County Jail.
