FORT PAYNE, Ala. — Damaris Gomez, the 16 year old juvenile female that was reported missing on May 20th from Fort Payne of this year has been located in Laredo, Texas.

She was located yesterday in Laredo by authorities and she is currently being held at a juvenile detention center. The Fort Payne Police Department and the Dekalb County Juvenile Probation Office are currently working with authorities in Laredo in bringing her back to her home in Fort Payne.

Detective Lt. David Davis would like to express his appreciation to everyone that gave assistance in the search for the missing teen and a special thank you to Fort Payne Times Journal for running the missing teens photo in the paper throughout the summer.
