DeKALB COUNTY, Ala. — Several local churches and businesses are holding Halloween events this weekend to celebrate the end of this spooky season. 

Here is a full list of events we have gathered from throughout the community:

• Family First Medicine Drive-Thru Trick-R-Treat: October 31 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., drive-thru the clinic located at the Rainsville Medical Plaza beside Fred's. 

• Rainsville Community Church Drive-Thru Trunk-R-Treat: October 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church located at 190 Mountain View Drive (CR44) in Rainsville.

• Mountain & Main Real Estate Group Trick-R-Treat: October 31 @ 5 p.m. at 404 Street East in Fort Payne. Enter the pumpkin carving contest for a chance to win $100!

• Spookapalooza Weekend at DeSoto State Park: October 30-November 1 at DeSoto State Park for a weekend of fun events guaranteed to run shivers down your spine!

• Halloween on the Square: October 31 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Square in Scottsboro with traffic being blocked at 4 p.m. for trick-or-treaters.

• Drive-Thru Trick-R-Treat at VFW Fairgrounds: Drive-Thru trick-r-treat event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on October 31 at the fairgrounds in Fort Payne. No walk-ups allowed.

• City of Rainsville Trunk-R-Treat: October 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the City Park

• Broadway Baptist Church Trunk-R-Treat: October 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church parking lot

• Ider Rescue Squad Trunk-R-Treat: October 31 at 6 p.m.

• Mentone Community Church Trunk-R-Treat: October 31 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the church

• Valley Head Trunk-R-Treat: October 31 at 5 p.m., just drive around the Square
