DEKALB CO., Ala.-- Block parties, Spook-taculars, Trunk-or-Treats, costume parties and church gatherings are planned throughout the county for this weekend. 

Limon’s Mexican Restaurant in Henagar will host a Halloween party on Saturday, October 30th. The kid’s costume contest will begin at 12 pm and an adult costume contest at 9 pm. You must dine in to qualify for prizes. 

The Fyffe Red Devils will host a Trick-or-Treat with the Red Devil Basketball Team and Coaches from 3:00-4:30 pm on Saturday, October 30th, at the Mike Cochran Gymnasium.

The DeKalb Animal Hospital Howl-O-Ween Pawty will be Saturday, October 30th, from 3:30-4:30 pm at the Rotary Pavilion in Fort Payne. There will be a costume parade with prizes plus a pet and owner photo booth and snacks for owners and furry friends.

Multiple Halloween events will be held throughout the City of Henagar, on October 30th. The Henagar Library will host a trunk or treat from 4-6 pm at Henagar City Park featuring local business. Limon’s Mexican Restaurant will sponsor a free movie at Henagar City Park beginning at 6 pm. Free popcorn will be given away. Guests should bring a lawn chair. 

The Town of Sylvania will hand out candy on Saturday, October 30th, beginning at 4 pm.

The Town of Valley Head will host a Halloween Drive-Thru Saturday, October 30th, starting at 4 pm at the Town Hall at 41 Anderson Street.

The Town of Geraldine’s Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 30th, beginning at 4 pm at the old gymnasium at the Geraldine High School. Hot dogs and drinks will be served by the mayor or council. 

The Collinsville Historical Association’s Trunk or Treat will be Saturday, October 30th, beginning at 5 pm in downtown Collinsville. 

The Rainsville Spooktacular will be Saturday, October 30th, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Rainsville City Park. 

The Halloween Block Party sponsored by Twin City Used Car Sales and the Fort Payne Chamber of Commerce will be held at the VFW Fairgrounds, located at 151 18th Street, Fort Payne, AL on October 31st from 4-7 pm.  Families can park and get candy from various businesses.
