SYLVANIA, Ala. — We can confirm at approximately 3:15 pm, law enforcement has taken into custody inmate Christopher Jones, who walked away from a work release detail around 11:30 am this morning.
Jones was spotted near County Road 683 in Sylvania before being captured.
The inmate was on a work release job at F.G. Lumber in Sylvania when he decided to leave earlier today.
