HUNTSVILLE, Ala.-- Several local schools advanced in the Super Regionals Volleyball Tournament held at the Von Braun South Hall on Thursday.
In the first round of the Super Regionals, Fyffe (28-14) 3, defeated Carbon Hill (32-16) 1. In the Quarterfinals Fyffe (29-14) 3, defeated Brindlee Mountain (32-15) 0. Fyffe will face Danville (48-22) today (Thursday) at 2 p.m.
Plainview (46-16) 3, defeated Winfield (17-16) 0 in the first round of the Super Regionals. In the quarterfinals, Plainview (47-16) 3, defeated Susan Moore (47-8) 0. The Plainview Lady Bears will face the Geraldine Lady Bulldogs (45-15) at 2 p.m. today (Thursday).
Geraldine (44-15) 3, defeated Colbert Heights 0 in the first round of the Super Regionals. In the Quarterfinals, Geraldine (45-15) 3, defeated Ohatchee (34-11) 2. The Geraldine Lady Bulldogs will face Plainview at 2 p.m. today (Thursday).
