FORT PAYNE, Ala. — According to the DeKalb County Emergency Management Agency, the "Emergency Mock Event" for next week has been cancelled due to the Influenza Emergency and the potential for winter weather in our area for Monday.
The DeKalb County EMA announced the cancellation a short while ago:

The Emergency Mock Event was announced yesterday by Fort Payne City Schools and DeKalb County Schools on Social Media. County first responders would be doing a drill to help improve cohesion and response time at a school in DeKalb County sometime between January 15th – 19th, 2018.
No word yet if the event will be rescheduled.
