A semi-truck was found engulfed in flames on Wednesday morning along US-72 between near Woodville. Jackson County Sheriff Rocky Harnen said the driver smelled smoke, pulled over and found that his truck was on fire.

“The troopers went out there along with a volunteer fire department," Harnen said. "The driver is fine. He smelled smoke, pulled over and then found out the truck was on fire and burned to the ground.”
