Alabama Brings Back Christmas for Kids

Alabama Brings Back Christmas for Kids

By Jenna Sue Payne, Sales Manager

FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The need is great in DeKalb County, and there are three of Santa's Helpers that are ready to get to work with the help of the Marine Corps and some awesome volunteers to help out!

Country Super Group ALABAMA, in conjunction with The Marine Corps Toys for Tots, program have announced they would bring back Christmas for Kids this year.

In DeKalb County, there are 1122 children in need this Christmas.  On Friday, November 29th at 5pm at The Alabama Fan Club in Fort Payne, you have a chance to make a difference.

Bring a NEW unwrapped toy to The Alabama Fan Club.  That's your admission to see the Boys from ALABAMA gather and sing Christmas favorites. (Kids under 16 are free to attend.) There will be drawings for free bicycles in each age group. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be there, and The Marine Corps representatives will be on hand to gather the toys for later distribution.

Christmas for the Kids was a special initiative that was started in the mid-1980s as a way of the group to connect and make a difference in helping kids and families in our area.  It is such a blessing that Jeff, Teddy and Randy have gathered together and are bringing this beloved Christmas Tradition back this year.

On behalf of all of us at Southern Torch Media, we are all grateful for their generosity!
