CCA Extends Fall Break Due to COVID-19

RAINSVILLE, Ala. — According to a statement made to Southern Torch by Cornerstone Christian Academy (CCA) Principal Angela Smith, the school has closed for grades 7-12 due to exposure and for prevention of the spread of the coronavirus.

This closure only affects the high school, and students will take an extra week of fall break beginning on Monday, October 5.

Smith went on to state there has been no reported cases of the novel coronavirus at the elementary or pre-school levels.
