DeKALB COUNTY, Ala. — DeKalb County District 2 Commissioner Scot Westbrook has announced his bid for re-election in 2020.
District 2 covers sections of Fyffe, along with all of Geraldine and Crossville, as well as their surrounding communities.
Westbrook has spent the past 15 years serving as a firefighter in DeKalb County. He currently manages the training center at the Fort Payne Fire Department.
"I strongly believe that government should serve the people that it represents, and I will continue to serve the public and represent you to the best of my ability," said Westbrook. "You have a voice in the direction of [DeKalb County] and as your DeKalb County Commissioner, I will be your voice."
The Republican primary election for DeKalb County will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
