Plainview Offensive Coordinator Luke Pruitt has agreed to join the staff at Albertville under new head coach and DeKalb legend, Dale Pruitt.

The Plainview graduate has been back at his alma mater for 7 years after a short stint in Hoover and was the mastermind behind a Bears offense that averaged 31 points per game during that stretch (38 ppg last season).

Pruitt turned down multiple offers, including Pell City (6A) and Pelham (6A), to join his father at Albertville.

This signals the end of an era at Plainview as Dale Pruitt and Luke Pruitt become Aggies, while Quarterback Jayse Pruitt moves on to the next level at Jacksonville State University.
