VALLEY HEAD, Ala. — The Valley Head TIgers defeated the Falkville Blue Devils on Friday night, 32-7.
Jordan Burt charged down the field nineteen yards to score the first touchdown of the night for the Valley Head Tigers. The point after attempt failed, making the score 6-0.
With 5:42 remaining in the first half, Jordan Burt strikes again on a 8-yard run. He also brought the extra 2-points, giving the Tigers the 14-0 advantage. Falkville returned the kick-off and galloped down the field for 89 yards to score. The extra point was good, narrowing the Tiger lead to 14-7 going into the half.
With only :05 ticked off the fourth quarter clock, Marlon Trinidad scores from 1-yard out. The point after attempt failed. With 6:18 remaining in regulation play, Burt scores his third touchdown of the night on a 22-yard run. The Tigers stretched their lead to, 26-7. With 1:45 remaining in the game, Burt struck again from 3-yards out, giving the Tigers the 32-7 region win.
Valley Head will face a familiar foe as they take on former Valley Head Coach, Brian Knapp and his Gaylesville Trojans, Friday night.
