DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. — Several area teams have made the cut for the first round pairings of the AHSAA State Baseball Playoffs. Congratulations to the following teams for making it this far, and good luck to ALL area teams in this weekend's games!

  • Fyffe (20-4) will face Phil Campbell (20-9) on Friday, April 20 at 4pm and 6:30pm at Phil Campbell (if needed, Saturday at 1pm)
  • Clements (14-7) will face Plainview (12-6) on Friday, April 20 at 4:30pm and 7pm at Plainview (if needed, Saturday at noon)
  • Lexington (13-10) will face Geraldine (10-8) on Friday, April 20 at 5pm and 7pm at Geraldine (if needed, Saturday at 1pm)
  • Collinsville (10-12) will face Thorsby (19-4) on Friday, April 20 at 4:30pm and 6:30pm at Thorsby (if needed, Saturday at 1pm)
  • Sylvania (8-16) will face West Morgan (19-9) on Friday, April 20 at 4:30pm and 6:30pm at West Morgan (if needed, Saturday at noon)
  • Red Bay (15-10) will face Section (15-8) on Friday, April 20 at 5pm and 7pm at Section (if needed, Saturday at 1pm)
