FYFFE, Ala.—The Southern Torch Coach of the Week is Coach Brad Thomas, Head Baseball Coach at Fyffe High School.

Coach Thomas graduated from Ider in 1999.  He graduated from Snead State where he played baseball for 2 years.  He transferred to Tennessee Temple where he continued his baseball career. Thomas received his Masters from Lee University.

Thomas said he had been married to his beautiful wife, Ashley Wigley Thomas for eight years. They have two children, Bella, 3 and Crue, 1.

Those who have spent time with Thomas say he is a Godly man on and off the baseball field.  His favorite quote is “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14.
