FYFFE, Ala.—Defending 2A State Champion Fyffe Red Devils came from behind to defeat Ranburne tonight 24-20 in dramatic fashion in the final seconds of the the AHSAA football quarterfinals of the state playoffs.

Neither team led by more than a touchdown in the 2A semifinal shootout that would see six lead changes throughout the night. Fyffe struck the final blow with 32 seconds left in the ballgame. Trailing Ranburne 20-16, Fyffe's score and successful 2-point conversion in the final seconds of the game put the Red Devils up 24-20 and secured a spot for the second consecutive year in the semifinals of the AHSAA Class 2A Football Championship .

Fyffe will advance to face Randolph County at Randolph County next Friday, Nov. 27  at 7 p.m. in the semifinals of the 2015 AHSAA Class 2A Football Championship.
