FYFFE, Ala. — On Saturday, the Fyffe Lady Red Devils Varsity Volleyball team defeated the Geraldine Lady Bulldogs in the Alabama High School Athletic Association (ASHAA) Subregional Volleyball Tournament. 

Fyffe will advance to Regionals in Huntsville, playing Thursday at 10 a.m. 

Fyffe and Geraldine battled it out in subregional play, with Fyffe winning the best of 3-out-of-5. 

The breakdown of the matches are as follows:

• Match 1- Fyffe 29-27
• Match 2-Geraldine 25-21
• Match 3- Fyffe 25-23
• Match 4-Geraldine 25-16
• Match 5-Fyffe 18-16
