Congratulations to the Fort Payne Cross Country team and Head Coach Shana Talley for their exemplary performance at the Munford Invitational on September 21st.

In the Girls’ 5K run, the Wildcats demonstrated their individual prowess by placing five runners in the top 12. Kyndal Hughes finished first (19:33.65), Sara Boatwright fifth (21:39.71), Rayleigh Carpenter seventh (21:58.98), Zoie Craig 11th (22:40.58) and Ruthie Jones 12th (22:57.65).

In the Boys’ 5K run, Fort Payne played two runners in the top four. Pablo Rodriguez finished first (16:34.44), and Daniel Deleon fourth (17:24.57).
