BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Three local Volleyball Teams will be participating in the AHSAA 52nd Elite 8 Volleyball Championships at Birmingham CrossPlex and adjacent Bill Harris Arena on October 25-27.
Geraldine and Plainview will be representing DeKalb County in Class 3A. Fyffe will represent DeKalb County in Class 2A.
Games times are as follows:
CLASS 3A
Geraldine (32-16) vs. Prattville Christian (35-19), Wednesday, 9 a.m.
Opp (13-17) vs. Ohatchee (32-16), Wednesday, 9 a.m.
Houston Academy (23-14) vs. Plainview (61-11), Wednesday, 9 a.m.
Susan Moore (48-10) vs. St. Luke’s (40-12), Wednesday, 9 a.m.
Semifinals: Wednesday, 3 p.m.
Championship: Thursday, 10 a.m.
CLASS 2A
Lindsay Lane (23-25) vs. G.W. Long (28-10), Tuesday, noon
Washington County (22-5) vs. Donoho (41-14), Tuesday, noon
Tuscaloosa Academy (20-9) vs. Pleasant Valley (40-14), Tuesday, noon
