FYFFE, Ala. — Two Fyffe football players are up for Player of the Year.

Senior Payton Anderson has been named one of the 48 finalists for the Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) Back of the Year.

Sophomore Caleb Lyles has been named one of the 48 finalists for the Lineman of the Year.

This year's banquet will take place on January 15 in Montgomery. At that time, the ASWA will name a Back and Lineman of the Year for each of the Alabama High School Athletic Association classifications, as well as Mr. Football.
