Story By Donald Campbell
Southern Torch is taking time this Veterans Day to recognize the tremendous sacrifice of those men and women in the United States Armed Forces.
On Tuesday, November 11th, veterans are invited to stop by the Southern Torch corporate office at 225 Gault Avenue North in Fort Payne. The 98.3 WILD COUNTRY morning team of Harley and Karli will be interviewing area veterans throughout their morning show from 6 until 9 A.M. Plus, all of your favorite country artists’ most patriotic songs honoring service members will be playing all day long as part of 98.3 WILD COUNTRY’s Songs for Soldiers. There will also be some prize packs for veterans to call in and win. In addition, the company will be serving breakfast for veterans starting at 7 A.M.
Southern Torch wants to thank Caroline’s Café in Collinsville, Dunkin Donuts in Albertville, Scooters Coffee in Fort Payne, Vickie’s Florist in Section and Rainsville, Desoto Printing, Fort Payne Footworks, Bruce’s Foodland Stores, Lil’ Mole Run Golf Course in Mentone, and Dominos Pizza in Rainsville and Fort Payne for providing refreshments, decorations, and prizes to celebrate America’s heroes.
