DEKALB CO, Ala.—Alabama will hold its primary election on March 1, 2016 to determine which Democrat candidate and which Republican candidate will represent their parties in the general election in November. In order to take part in the March 1 primary, DeKalb County voters must meet the following February deadlines:
February 12 - Voter registration hand-delivery deadline (due to Monday holiday).
February 13 - Last day for voter to postmark a voter registration form.
February 25 - Last day for voter to make application for an absentee ballot.
February 29 - Last day for voter to hand-deliver or postmark an absentee ballot.
