With the 2014 general election quickly approaching, it’s time to make sure we are all educated about what all is at stake during this election.

I have many Democrat friends and I really like them. They are good people, but I clearly disagree with their reasons for voting Democrat. Decades ago, here in Alabama there may have been good reasons to vote Democrat, but no more. That era and those reasons to are long gone. I can’t think of any good reason to vote for any Democrat, period. Sure, there are some local Democrat candidates and many voters think they have a chance to be re-elected because many think of them as pretty good folk and may not have a big problem with the job they have done over the years. But if they were truly like minded with the rest of us in DeKalb County, they themselves could no longer support, vote or be a Democrat.

Over the last few years in Alabama we have seen dozens upon dozens of past Democrat officials and candidates leave the Democrat Party. They all give the same top reason for leaving, that the Democrat Party does NOT REPRESENT how they believe or who they are. It has happened right here in Dekalb County. Current Elected officials and past Democrat candidates have switched parties and have clearly said they do not represent the Democrat party and do not want to be associated with them. So, regardless of any double talk or flashy campaign strategies, with that defining knowledge, we have to ALL accept the fact that EVERY DEMOCRAT CANDIDATE on the ballot Nov 4 believes, supports and agrees with the current Democrat platform and belief system, including supporting Pres. Obama and his destructive plans for our way of life. Don’t forget, they each had the chance not to swear loyalty to the Democrat Party but instead purposely choose to run as a Democrat Candidate.

I could go on and on about how a vote for any Democrat is a vote supporting Obama or a vote against our Traditional Dekalb County, Alabama Values but I want to close with this thought and a quick top 5 list.

Alabamians, like you and me, have to make an important and in many cases, a very tough decision. Will we simply vote for a Democrat because grandpa and grandma voted Democrat or will we bravely recognize that we must now ALL VOTE STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN because that is the only party that clearly represents those beliefs of our grandparents and the families of the present and future DeKalb County, Alabama.

•  Republicans firmly support ALL your Constitutional Rights, including your Right to KEEP and BEAR ARMS, not just the select few or law enforcement.
• Republicans hold stead-fast to the definition of Traditional Marriage as between 1 man and 1 woman.
• Republicans are the only party that as an important part of its core party principle - protects unborn children and women’s health.
• Knowing you are NOT in any way voting or supporting OBAMA or his destructive policies.
• The #1 reason to vote a Straight Republican Ticket -- The Republican Party has NEVER voted God out of their party or Platform.
