The War Before the Battle...

The results are FINAL.

Last night DeKalb County watched as the slate for the General Election in November became clear.

Highlights:

Voter Turnout was incredibly low, but not unexpected for a non-Presidential Election year
Every Anti-Common Core Candidate was hammered across the State
AEA sunk $7 Million into races in Alabama and failed in 99% of those races
The Young Republicans of Northeast Alabama are legitimate (Tyler Wilks for Revenue Commissioner)
Even Democrats don't really like Parker Giffith
In almost every race in Alabama, the winner was decided in last nights GOP Election

There are a few races across Alabama still left for DeKalb County voters to decide in run-offs, including:

Secretary of State race between John Merrill (R) and Reese McKinney (R);
Public Service Commission Place 2 between Chip Beeker (R) and Terry Dunn (R);
DeKalb County State Executive Committee Seat Place 3 between Jack Stiefel and Scotty Vaughn.
