Secretary of State John Merrill Represents Alabama at NASS Conference in Washington

MONTGOMERY, Ala. –Secretary of State John H. Merrill is representing Alabama at the National Association of Secretaries of State Annual Winter Conference in Washington, D.C. through February 13, 2015. Secretaries of State from all over the country are discussing policy and best practices about topics concerning elections, business services, records management and more.

The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), founded in 1904, is the oldest non-partisan professional organization of public officials in the United States. It provides resources for and through Secretaries of State of U.S. states and territories.

“I am learning a great deal and meeting many other Secretaries of State here at the NASS conference,” said Secretary Merrill. “I continue to be honored to represent the great state of Alabama. I welcome this opportunity to discuss and develop approaches that will provide the citizens of Alabama the best customer service possible.”
