With the next General Election just over a year away, Southern Torch has conducted our first poll for the 2014 Election Cycle.

The poll consisted of questions to registered voters of Fort Payne,Henagar, Ider, and Rainsville about candidates for Alabama State Senate District 8.

There are now 4 candidates in this race after John Blackwell dropped out to run for US Congress in District 6 (Southern Torch broke the story).


Poll Results:

Shadrack McGill: 8%

Todd Greeson: 24%

Steve Livingston: 8%

Horace Clemmons: 4%

Undecided: 56%
