The DeKalb County Democrats have found their man for the House District 24 race.

David Beddingfield of Fort Payne will carry the blue flag in the November General Election.

Beddingfield will face the winner of the Republican Primary between Billy Hodges (R-Hammondville) and Nathaniel Ledbetter (R-Rainsville).

The speculation is that Craig Ford (D) spent the last 36 hours in DeKalb County attempting to find a candidate. Beddingfield, the former University of Alabama quarterback, was his man.
