DeKalb County Circuit Clerk Pam Simpson (D) got in to a heated discussion with Valley Head resident Shane Wright regarding an assault incident.
Wrights video has gone viral with over 185 Facebook shares as of today.

I have only one comment about this. I can not discuss any report with someone other than the person making the report, This was NOT his report and he came into my office asking for information on how we handled warrants. I was trying to explain when he begin talking about a incident under investigation. These reports are NOT public record until a warrant is issued. I take my job very serious and will not discuss cases. This was NOT his report and he was told to report to the FPPD to give his deposition on the following Friday.He did not and has not showed up to date. If anyone has a question I would be more than glad to talk but I can not discuss this case until investigator has completed his investigation.
Did i hear you tell this man it was LEGAL to beat somebody on the street because its public property? Haha..now with every cop involved in some kind of dirty act and losing jobs left and right it all makes sense. You could run a great lemonade stand..but this court business just is not for you

I have just now found these false statements you have posted slandering my good name, trying to make me out to be some liar to cover for yourself. No ma’am that is a FALSE STATEMENT that you posted against me. You, me, an everyone that has seen this video can see plainly for their self the COPYS OF MY REPORT an me CLARIFYING WHO I AM AN THAT THE REPORT WAS IN FACT MINE that I FILED PERSONALLY with a DEKALB COUNTY OFFICER at the SCENE OF THE CRIME. There for this statement is not only considered SLANDER, but is also VERY DISRESPECTFUL an COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL OF YOU. To take your job so seriously you’d think CLAIMING FALSE STATEMENTS would be out of line, expectionally when the video is here for EVERYONE to see. The investigation was DISCONTINUED PRIOR TO THIS VIDEO, WITHOUT MYSELF BEING THE VICTIM WITH A POLICE REPORT FILED, THE EYE WITNESS, OR THE OTHER VICTIM TO THIS RUTHLESS BEATING BEING INTERVIEW AT ALL. IT WAS DISCONTINUED WITH ONLY THE ASSAILANTS BEING INTERVIEW. Now what kind of investigation would that be?? I didn’t have yet to see any kind of justice served, but have been slandered and made out to be a liar. I still have the copy’s of my report and they are also on file at Dekalb County. My opinion the case was pushed under the rug, in my eyes it’s plain to see that. An I fully believe it was because the son of a Dekalb County officers son an his step brother were involved. Again this is a FALSE STATEMENT, AN I HAVE ALL THE MEANS TO PROVE IT WAS MY REPORT THAT SHES CLAIMING IT WASNT. AGAIN U CAN SEE PLAINLY IN THE VIDEO THE REPORTS FILED. One of the assailant even drop his wallet an charges were never an have yet to be filed. UNJUSTICE AT ITS BEST. PLEASE WATCH. PLEASE!!
My incident happened on private property and still the clerks office would not issue the warrant for her arrest and all evidence showed third degree domestic violence our court system is a joke
Ms. Simpson, When will the investigation be completed? This was a long time ago. A police report was filed. A man was beaten to a concussion in the street outside his home and no arrest has been made.
Truly, what investigation is needed? These thugs hid in the woods on a residential dead-end street where they had no business being except for the fact they had premeditated to kick the crap out of a couple men outside their homes? Police were called, and a report made. I can truly understand some anger at the system when no justice has been done and as Ms. Simpson even says in the video a cop’s son is involved. Huh, that doesn’t sound fishy at all, does it?
Would the police not have some duty to follow up if they needed a deposition? I’m sure they know where the Wrights live, since IT IS ON THE POLICE REPORT THEY FILED. I WOULDN’T THINK IT WOULD BE TOO HARD TO FIND THE VICTIMS IF THEY REALLY WANTED MORE INFORMATION
I so know the feeling. It’s the other side of the law but it to involves a former officer father. His dad pushed two vehicles on our property. I asked him to remove them and he refused. I then followed the abandoned vehicle act in Alabama by having an officer come and verify that the car’s are on our property. Then I took the information to the tax office. Where they ran the car’s former owner sent leaders to the owner. The tax office sent me a leader stating th at I needed to run the car in the paper . That was two years ago. Last year I was charged with two counts of first degree theft. On car I now legal own. Before that I worked as a maintenance man for someone who had trailers . My job was to fix and inspect his property. I also lived in one of his trailers. There was an augment that happed next door so I went to check it out where. I was then hit trying to break up the fight. I got away. Then when the county officer arrived I was held by gun point but not by an officer it was his nephew. I filed a report then went down to Pam office to press charges against the guy who hit me she told me to just drop it I fought with her for a little while to get me warrent. The next week I found out that the guy who hit me took out a warrant for trespassing on me . So I think that all of the Pam’s office and Mike Odell office need to be fired. I would hate to see what would happen if a cop would do anything illegal they would probably get away with anything because Pam or Mike would just cover it up with paperwork and make it disappeared.

Nothing was ever done. Nothing but crooks in this county. An to this day there is now a sign in her office claiming its against the law to video in her office which i do believe is RCW violation being is that a public office her being a public official, just saying
Maybe she shouldn’t be VOTED in that position. She’s obviously not caring about her job. Its all bull in DeKalb county. I think the whole system needs an overhaul. Bottom line at election time, voice your opinions and state facts.
Remember when a young lady on a bicycle was ran down by a Dekalb County Policeman’s sin that also had worked for thar depaetment? He basically got awat with tha t. It is a dirty rotten shame that these things hapoen. I do know that if some “brave boys” had jumped my daddy or my child, wife, or me, they better get jail time. If they don’t, they better watch over their shoulder from thentering o lest I take hem from behind ease I can play the cowardly way too. By the way, while they are looking over their shoulder, they better hopen I don’t walk up in front of them and “take their head off” so to speak. I have already went that route one time and put down 4 “big bad tough idiots” that jumped me. If the law will not honestly prosecute someone just because of who they are, then you have the right (legal or otherwise) to take care of the problem
Otherwise you will have the s a me problem again. The sad thing is that most police are good and do not condone their colleagues acting this way but in many cases are scared to say anything for fear of losing their jobs.
