FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The Fort Payne City Council held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 19.

During the meeting, the Council:

• Passed Resolution 2019-44, rejecting the bids for a skid steer mulching unit and reopened the bids again
• Authorized the creation of an Assistant IT position
• Approved the annual $2,000 appropriation to the Fort Payne High School Basketball program to offset the cost of the annual Wills Valley Shoot-Out Basketball Tournament
• Approved a $1,000 appropriation to the Fort Payne High School Band Winter Guard to offset the cost of participating in competitions

The next meeting of the Fort Payne City Council will be held on Tuesday, December 3 at 12pm at Fort Payne City Hall.
