Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville not only has one-of-a-kind employees but one-of-a-kind recipes from their kitchen.
For many years SCH collected recipes from HMC volunteers, kitchen staff and meals their patients loved to have made and put together cookbooks.
These mouthwatering Neiman-Marcus Brownies are one of those recipes from the Shepherd’s Cove Hospice kitchen.
Neiman-Marcus Brownies
1 box Butter Pecan cake mix
2 stick margarine or butter melted
3 egg, beaten
1 8oz package of cream cheese softened
1 box of powdered sugar
Combine cake mix, 1 stick or margarine or butter and 1 egg, Press into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan.
In separate bowl, mix cream cheese, 1 stick butter or margarine, powdered sugar and 2 eggs.
pour over cookie layer. Top with ½ cup chopped pecans. Bake at 300 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.
