Howard Bentley Buick GMC Kicks Off 2025 “Season of Giving” to support Marshall County nonprofits

ALBERTVILLE- Howard Bentley Buick GMC— the #1 GMC dealer in Alabama and a top 10 GMC dealer nationwide—has launched its 2025 Season of Giving, a four-month community initiative that turns every vehicle sold from September through December into meaningful support for local nonprofits across Marshall County in Albertville, Alabama.

Since launching in 2019, Howard Bentley’s Season of Giving has raised more than $167,000 for local charities. This year’s campaign expands that impact beginning with Second Chance September, dedicated in loving memory of Sheila Cantrell, a cherished member of the Howard Bentley family. In her honor, the dealership donated $25 for each vehicle sold to Second Chance Shelter in Boaz, raising $7,725 to support rescued dogs. The initiative continued in October with a community adoption event at the dealership, bringing residents together to meet adoptable pets and support the shelter’s mission.

“The response from our community in September was truly inspiring, especially as we honored my aunt, Sheila Cantrell, whose love for animals made Second Chance September so meaningful,” said Taylor Bentley Conner, dealer principal of Howard Bentley Buick GMC. “We’re proud to carry that spirit of giving into Booktober, because reading opens doors to opportunity, and we’re excited to help more children in Marshall County build strong foundations for the future.”

Building on September’s momentum, the focus this month shifts to Booktober, supporting Albertville City Schools Foundation and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to help put more books and educational resources into the hands of local children. In November, the Give Back for Black Friday campaign will highlight CAJA of Marshall County, which advocates for abused and neglected children, before concluding in December with the beloved “Remember in December” tradition, benefiting the Marshall County Christmas Coalition to help fulfill holiday wish lists for local families.

Throughout the Season of Giving, Howard Bentley Buick GMC, a trusted GMC Dealer in Albertville, Alabama, contributes a portion of every vehicle sold to the featured nonprofit and encourages its employees to volunteer alongside community partners. December’s festivities will include the dealership’s popular Santa Picture Night and participation in the Albertville Chamber of Commerce holiday events, bringing families together to celebrate the season and give back.

A Legacy of Community Investment

Howard Bentley Buick GMC supports local communities through charitable giving, volunteerism, and partnerships with organizations that share a vision for a better tomorrow. In 2024, the dealership donated over $200,000 to over 100 different local schools, community needs, local nonprofits and charities working on the front lines of poverty, education, and health while helping drive the growth and prosperity of Albertville and surrounding areas. The dealership’s community involvement reflects its core values: dedication, integrity, and cooperation in meeting the needs of the people they serve.
