Today is the day to kick off the holidays at the Boaz VFW Fairgrounds!
The Hometown Marketplace-The Holiday Edition kicks off its third year this morning at 9 a.m. with over 100 vendors, live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, pony rides, a beauty pageant, Family Fun Zone, a dog pageant and rumor has is Santa will be stopping by.
Hometown Marketplace-Holiday Edition Entertainment Schedule:
9 a.m.: Isaac Butler
9:30 a.m.: Boaz Choir
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Miss Hometown Pageant
10 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Santa (inside stage area)
1 p.m.: Just Dance Academy
1:30 p.m.: Snead State Street Singers
3 p.m.: Becca and Isaac Butler
4 p.m.: Paws for a Cause Pet Pageant
5 p.m.: Chad Steed
6 p.m.: STS Youth Worship
“If y’all know anything about us, we love the motto, “Go BIG or Go Home!” and we plan on going really BIG on November 1st! We chose some of our favorite people in the world to join us for a fantastic vendor lineup along with entertainment for the entire family,” said Rachel Noles and Staci McDowell, co-owners of the Boxtruck Boutique. “If you love shopping, eating, and a Christmas vibe that rivals a magical Hallmark movie., then get ready!”
This is an annual event hosted by The BoxTruck Boutique and sponsored by Boaz City Schools. The day-long event will be held at the Boaz, Alabama VFW fairgrounds on today from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Tickets are $5 and kiddos 18 and under are free.
