DeKALB COUNTY, Ala. — The DeKalb County Council on Aging will begin scheduling appointments to assist citizens with open enrollment for Medicare Part D.
The enrollment period goes from October 15 through December 7. Due to COVID-19, the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG) does not allow the Council on Aging to conduct in-person sessions, instead scheduling over-the-phone appointments.
For those who schedule an appointment, you will receive a letter with your appointment information and a form to fill out. You must mail back the information in a pre-paid envelope to allow staff to prepare your session. This will provide more time for questions during the actual phone appointment.
For more information, please contact the DeKalb County Council on Aging at (256) 845-8590.
