FORT PAYNE, Ala. — Yesterday, the City of Fort Payne held their annual "2017 Veterans Day Parade;" held in conjunction with Veteran's Day to honor all those who have served in military.
The Fort Payne JROTC Battalion lead the way, and first responders, military veterans, veterans groups, and businesses participated in the parade down Gault Avenue. Here are a few pictures from the event:

A special shout out to Nathan Pope of Fort Payne who played an excellent rendition of Taps to start the parade! Nathan attended the parade every year with his Grandfather, who was a Veteran and passed away last June of Cancer. Sorry for your loss Nathan, and your Grandfather would have been very proud!
