DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said of the investigation and arrests: “I’d like to commend our Deputies and Investigators for moving quickly in this matter and making the arrests. Stolen firearms usually don’t stick around long before they are sold.”
“Most of the thefts reported in this county are drug related. Our Deputies, Investigators, and Drug Task Force agents work hard every day to combat this menace. Drugs on our streets are not only dangerous for those that do them, but are directly linked to our citizens losing their valuables to theft,” he said.
“We appreciate the public’s support and help in our ongoing efforts to rid our county of this menace. God Bless!” Said Sheriff Welden.
