CROSSVILLE, Ala. — The Southern Torch Coach of the Week is Dusty Darnell, new Head Coach of the Crossville Lions!

Darnell is an alumnus of Crossville High School and graduated in the Class of 1997. He went on to attend Jacksonville State University and graduated with a degree in physical education.

He is married to Holly Darnell and they have two children: Dirks and Lynley, with one on the way due in November!

Darnell served as an offensive coordinator at Sardis High School for eight years before returning home to help at Crossville. This is his first year to serve as a head coach. Good luck to Dusty Darnell and the Crossville Lions this season!
