CARTERSVILLE, Ala. — On Monday, several DeKalb County officials, first responders, and staff of the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) held a ribbon cutting for the DCSO North Substation in Cartersville.
"This will be a great asset for the north end of our county," said DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden. "We would like to thank the Cartersville Volunteer Fire Department for allowing us to use their space and for all they do in this area."
They would also like to thank Commission President Ricky Harcrow, Commissioners Shane Wootten and Lester Black, Circuit Clerk Todd Greeson, and Ricky Little of Alabama Emergency Management Agency for their support.
