RAINSVILLE, Ala. — The Cornerstone Christian Academy Eagles fell to Brooklane Baptist, 43-31 last Friday night.

Cornerstone struck first with a touchdown, taking the early lead despite the failure of their extra point, making the score 6-0. Brooklane replied with a touchdown of their own and a good PAT, bringing the score to 7-6.

Both teams traded the lead back and forth in the closest game for the Eagles so far this season. Despite several good plays, Cornerstone ultimately fell to Brooklane, 43-31.

The Cornerstone Christian Academy Eagles will face Conecuh Springs Christian away this week.
