RAINSVILLE, Ala. — Are you looking for a new way to get into shape? Body Vision is proud to announce something new that no other fitness center in the south has started yet, Indoor Paddle Board Yoga.

“It is big in Northern States but as far as we know no southern states have started this yet (Indoors).” said Pam Willingham of Body Vision.

Sharon Totten will be the instructor teaching  three classes of Indoor Paddle Board  every Wednesday evening beginning at  5, 6 and 7:00 pm. Ms. Totten is a 200 hour yoga certified teacher and is certified for group fitness for over eight years.  She has took the outdoor classes in Chattanooga and wanted to bring something similar back to Dekalb County.

“This class is on regular paddle boards that incorporates yoga with a core workout,” said Sharon Totten. “It helps in balance and in a way also promotes mediation. This class is for beginners to those people who have been practicing yoga for years.”

The price for non-members of Body Vision are $8 per visit.  Class is free to members of Body Vision.

During the first week, most all classes were completely full. You must call ahead to get your name on the list for a class.
