Dr. Vohn Enloe was officially announced as the new Athletic Director of Albertville High School on Tuesday evening at Albertville City School board meeting.
“I feel beyond blessed,” Enloe said. “I am so excited to hit the ground running. I believe in surrounding myself with great people and providing them with the resources to get the job done. We are blessed with some amazing people. We are going to do some great things.”
Dr. Enloe previously served as Principal of Guntersville High School from 2023 through 2025, and Guntersville Middle School from 2019 through 2021. While serving as Athletic Director, Enloe will also serve as Assistant Principal at Albertville High School.
“It is such an honor because this is an amazing system. I talked to Dr. [Bart] Reeves numerous times since Christmas to get me over here. I jumped on it because I want to be a part of something great. I am going to communicate my expectations with coaches and get in there on a regular basis. Again, we are going to do some great things,” Enloe said.
Steven Hudgins, Principal of Albertville High School, introduced Enloe as the new Athletic Director in front of a packed house at the school board meeting.
“I would like to introduce Dr. Vohn Enloe. Vohn is coming to us from Guntersville High School. Invaluable as far as experience. We are extremely blessed, and we are extremely excited to get someone with a high character like Dr. Enloe. To be able to get him in our school district and to be able to work beside him, I think it is not only great for myself and the high school, but great for the district. To have someone of his expertise and character around our young men and women is great,” Hudgins said.
Dr. Bart Reeves, Superintendent of Albertville City Schools, was next to speak about the hiring of Dr. Enloe.
“We are excited to have Dr. Enloe join us. When you think of first-class people, you think of Dr. Enloe. He is a man of integrity and character, and those are the type of people that we want here at Albertville,” said Reeves.
Enloe will replace Matthew Lambert, who served as Albertville’s Athletic Director from 2021 through 2025.
“At this time, I want to thank Mr. [Matthew] Lambert for his work as Athletic Director for these past four years. He did a fine job for the high school. I just want him to know that we appreciate his time and effort that he dedicated to Albertville City School athletics,” Reeves said.
