FP police announce slew of recent arrests

FORT PAYNE, Ala. — According to Fort Payne Police Chief David Davis: The Fort Payne Police Department (FPPD) has been busy over the last week, announcing more than a dozen arrests and several more incidents during the period of April 5 through April 8.

The following individuals were arrested:

  • Christopher Michael Woodle (32 of Henagar): Warrant for Outside Agency
  • Jonathan Frank Blevins (39 of Bridgeport): Assault and Harassment
  • Jamie Christina Watts (40 of Fort Payne): Theft of Property
  • Autumn Starr McKinney (21 of Pisgah): Warrant for Outside Agency
  • April Tasha Brunet (46 of Section): Theft of Property
  • Richard Charles Arredondo (46 of Fort Payne): Possession of a Controlled Subtance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Samantha Beatrice Lanning (27 of Geraldine): Theft of Property
  • Nequita Denise Atherley (34 of Fackler): Theft of Property
  • William Loomis Burns III (61 of Menlo, Ga.): DUI
  • Cassidy Lynn Bolding (20 of Fyffe): Warrant for Outside Agency
  • James Dewitt Casey (47 of Pisgah): Harassment 
  • Lenora Ann McKinney (50 of Cedar Bluff): Two warrants for Failure to Appear
  • Terry Lynn Chapman (52 of Cedar Bluff): 10 warrants for Failure to Appear

The following incidents were reported from April 5 through April 8:

  • Theft of Property: occurred at Wal-Mart on Monday, April 5 (miscellaneous items were taken in the amount of $19.76)
  • Theft of Property: occurred at Wal-Mart on Monday, April 5 (miscellaneous items were taken in the amount of $264.38)
  • Theft of Property: occurred at Wal-Mart on Tuesday, April 6 (miscellaneous items were take in the amount of $490.88)
  • Forgery: occurred at 1900 Watkins Avenue NE (a check for $196 was forged)
  • Theft of Property: occurred at 405 8th Street NE (an Apple iPhone XR was taken, valued at $1,000)
  • Theft of Property: occurred at 1008 Dogtown Road SE ($39,258.77 was taken)

In other news, the FPPD reported an accident that occurred at Wallace Avenue NE and Cooper Road NE involving Blaine O'Neal Kuykendall (19 of Gaylesville), who left the roadway and overturned in his 1994 Nissan pickup. Kuykendall was transported to DeKalb Regional Hospital by the DeKalb Ambulance Service (DAS). Nine other accidents were reported without injuries.
