FORT PAYNE — The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office has compiled a report of the work its personnel did in 2024 – an accounting that ranges from the miles patrolled to the arrests made.

“Being transparent with the community helps hold us accountable for the work that we do but it also helps us to know that we are working as hard as we can to keep our community safe, shows us where to make improvements and how to be more efficient in serving the community,” Sheriff Nick Welden said.
