FORT PAYNE, Ala. — Roy Alonzo Allen, age 43 of Fort Payne was arrested Monday afternoon on two Grand Jury indictments for Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault. Allen was taken into custody by members of the Fort Payne Police Department and DeKalb County Drug Task Force.

Allen is being held in the DeKalb County Jail waiting bond.  These charges stem from an incident that happened August 15, involving a piece of wood and a gun. Mr. Allen injured family member Don Juan Odom of Fort Payne.
