Four arrested after search warrant executed on Highway 40

HENAGAR, Ala. — According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office: On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, Patrol Division along with members of the Alabama State Drug Task Force and DeKalb County Sheriff‘s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Alabama Hwy 40 in Henagar (Jackson County Alabama).

During this search Agents and Deputies located and seized Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrested as a result of this investigation were:

  • Jeffery Alan Sparks age 43 of Henagar, AL. who was charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence.  Sparks was later released on $8,100 bond.
Robbie Lenn Gunter, 46 of Henagar. (Jackson County Sheriff's Office)
  • Robbie Lenn Gunter age 46 Henagar, AL. who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Gunter remains in Jail on $5,300 bond.

 

  • Jeffery Elbert Townsel age 55 of Fort Payne, AL. Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Townsell was later released on $5,300 bond.

  • Karen Michelle Combs age 44 of Pisgah, AL. who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Combs remains in jail with a Probation Hold.
