COLLINSVILLE, Ala. — According to the Collinsville Police Department: On December 3, 2017 Officer Ada Hamilton was dispatched to the 14000 block of Co Rd 51 in reference to a welfare check. Officer Hamilton came into contact with a white male identified as 31 year old Jason Goza of Collinsville.
After a check for warrants it was determined that Jason Goza had an outstanding felony warrant for failure to appear. Officer Hamilton conducted a Terry frisk pat down for weapons after the subject was placed under arrest.
Officer Hamilton found a white plastic baggie and a glass pipe with a white residue that tested positive for crystal methamphetamine. Jason Goza was arrested for the outstanding warrant and also for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jason Goza was booked into the Dekalb County Detention Center with bonds totaling $10,500.
