Meth, stolen property, and handguns found after search warrant in Rosalie

ROSALIE, Ala.  — On June 6, 2017 members of the Jackson County Sheriffs Office Criminal Investigation Division and Narcotics Unit along with Scottsboro Police Department Investigators and Fort Payne Police Department Investigators executed a search warrant at a residence located on Alabama Hwy 71 in Rosalie, AL.

During this search Investigators located approximately 25 grams of methamphetamine (Ice), approximately 1/4 pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, un-prescribed prescription medication and two handguns. Several items including an air compressor, pressure washer, a window mounted air conditioner and various tools, which are believed to have been stolen, were also located during this search. These items are thought to have been stolen from Jackson and surrounding counties in Alabama and Tennessee.

Arrested in connection with this investigation were:

 Scott Moore age 45 of Rosalie, AL. charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Possession With The Intent To Distribute Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Certain Person Prohibited To Possess A Firearm. Bond set at $15,300 and a hold was placed for Probation Violation.

 Nathan Robert Townson age 32 of Henegar, AL. charged with Loitering in a Drug House and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation. Bond set at $800;

 Ashley Cheri Holkem age 33 of Fort Payne, AL. charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering in a Drug House. Bond set at $600;

 Mandrian Lynn Smith age 38 of Flat Rock, AL. charged with Illegal Possession of Prescription Medication, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering In A Drug House. Bond set at $900.

This investigation is continuing and additional arrest/s are expected.
