'Large Amount' of Prescription Drugs stolen from C&H Drugs

FORT PAYNE, Ala. — On Sunday, February 12th, the owner of C & H Drug reported a burglary at their Gault Ave North location. The Fort Payne Police Department released a statement on the incident early on Monday:

"The owner said entry was gained into the building and a large amount of drugs were taken. The burglary resulted in heavy damage to the building and equipment inside the building," the statement said.

"A monetary value of the drugs taken is not available at the time of this report. Chief Bynum is asking if anyone saw anything suspicious to please call Detective David Davis at 256-845-1414," it continued.

The owners of C&H were not immediately available for comment, as the work day had to get on as normal at C&H's Gault Ave North location.
