FORT PAYNE, Ala. — According to Fort Payne Police Chief Randy Bynum, On Wednesday, January 11th, Dewayne Allen Gilmore, age 40 of Fort Payne, was arrested and charged with Two Counts of Aggravated Child Abuse.

The victims were both under the age of 10 and lived in the house with him.  Mr. Gilmore was transferred to the Dekalb County Jail where he awaits a $60,000.00 Bond.

Chief Bynum would like to thank the Fort Payne Police Investigators and Dekalb County Human Resource Department for the quick closure of this case.
